[Pann] “Kiiikiii is Already Overexposing their Image”

In their first year after debut, idols typically maintain a certain level of image management, even if they don’t fully embrace a mysterious concept.

They haven’t even debuted yet. Why did they randomly do “Being Abandoned on This Miserable Island” (refer to the famous question from a Korean variety or social media) twice? It’s not even a challenge. Usually, more experienced groups choose to do challenges if they want, but that’s not the case here. It seems more like the company is forcing it. But why? What’s the point?”

1. It seems like they’re trying to gain recognition through Twitter retweets and appeal to female fans, but did no one at the company consider that if they created buzz with that kind of music video, they should stick to that concept? Even if they go all out to present them as elegant rookies and make them go viral, they’re already starting at a disadvantage when it comes to earning the support of senior idol fans. It’s questionable why they would deliberately choose this kind of marketing strategy.

2. They just look like a bunch of online shopping mall models… Feels like I’ve already seen them 50 times on Instagram ㅠ

3. They might just want to create a friendly image by doing funny challenges, but since it’s Starship, I’m a bit worried they’ll overdo it.

4. They spent so much money on the MV, and now they’re suddenly making it feel like a low-budget group with this cheap vibe… What are they doing?

5. But the members are still pretty and lovable… I’m looking forward to it!
